Natural HGH
The Internet has many companies selling products called “Natural HGH.” There are many claims of success with natural HGH supplements including decrease in body fat, increase in muscle mass, restoration of hare loss or color, decrease in LDL cholesterol, an increase in HDL cholesterol, increased energy and an increased immune function.
The potential of HGH being an anti-aging solution for adults was reported in1990 by the New England Journal of Medicine. Many studies and tests have proven their original finding less than fact. Regardless, the article created a massive marketing campaign to sell non-prescription supplements that have HGH-like qualities.
Scientists have found that certain amino acids and vitamins can stimulate the natural release of HGH in many people. These HGH products come in a variety of forms including pills, sprays, powders, and juices.
Their prices also vary greatly and can be rather expensive. The active ingredient in Natural GH formulas include B vitamins, niacin and amino acid like L-Arginine, L-Lysine, L-Glutamine, L-Ornithine and glycine.
The basis behind the Natural HGH formulas is a time release or stacking strategy. Many of the compounds found in these supplements act differently to stimulate HGH release by the body. Each compound is activated by a different mechanism in the body, releasing them by different methods and times, maximizing the release effect.
Consider that your body’s natural HGH is a complex hormone composed of 191 amino acids. The often cited, original study that claimed an 8.8% increase in lean body mass, and a 14.4% decrease in body fat reported by the New England Journal was conducted in 1990.
It is important to understand that the HGH products available today are still citing that same study, and that study was done with prescription HGH. The products available to you “over-the-counter” do not contain prescription HGH.
There are also many web sites that compare and offer reviews of HGH products. Use your common sense! Are they only reviewing or recommending one line of products or just 10 individual products? Are they associated with the manufacturer? Many of these web sites offer advice or recommendations that are nothing more than slick advertising.
If you choose to use an HGH product, be sure and follow the directions included with the package and remember, despite what others may say, there is no miracle cure for aging or a quick way to increase natural HGH stimulation. Seek a doctor’s advice before self-administering growth hormone or “HGH producing supplements” to ensure all of your options are considered.
