Beware Of
Illegal HGH
Somatotropin is a substance created by the anterior pituitary gland in children and adolescence that is also known as Human Growth
Hormone (HGH). HGH has been credited with producing lean muscle mass and decrease body fat, among many other desirable
effects.
HGH is very attractive to athletes, body builders and aging people because of the “miracle” effects it has on the body. Unlike
steroids, which increase muscle cell size, HGH helps the body create new cells in muscle tissue.
In prescription form, HGH is used to treat Growth Hormone Deficiency (HGD), usually in children. The HGH compound is difficult to
manufacture, and is expensive. If you are considering purchasing HGH on the black market instead of going to a doctor, there are several
things you need to keep in mind.
Black market HGH has several downfalls and one needs to be cautious when purchasing these products.
Oral sprays, including nasal sprays are readily available but have not been tested by the FDA for effectiveness. HGH must be
administered intravenously to be effective. Powder forms of HGH must be dissolved in distilled water and taken
intravenously.
HGH is difficult to manufacture. Protein secretion or mouse-cell technology are the only two methods to successfully manufacture
HGH that is identical to natural HGH. Other methods used by black market manufacturers produce a product that is not identical to natural
HGH. These products are not effective because for your body to use the growth hormone, it must be identical to the growth hormone that is
naturally produced by your body.
Another type of black market HGH is “Cadaver GH.” Cadaver Growth Hormone is extracted from the pancreas of human cadavers. The
danger in using cadaver GH is the transmittal of disease, primarily Creutzfeldt-Jacob disease.
When purchasing HGH, keep in mind that authentic HGH is difficult to keep. It must be kept refrigerated. If it is stored in a warm
house or car, the effectiveness of the HGH compound will be diminished.
Therefore, if purchasing HGH from a unknown distributor, ask how it has been stored and for how long. You may be purchasing HGH on
the black market to save money, but you will be throwing your money away by purchasing a product that is already destroyed by improper
manufacture or storage.
Remember, medicine obtained from the black market is not controlled. The manufacture, storage, and transport of the product goes
completely unsupervised. If you are considering using black market HGH or other medicine, keep in mind it is a violation of Federal Law to sell
any product that contains HGH without a prescription.
There are other supplements that claim to increase the natural production of HGH as well, and may be an option. When considering HGH
supplement, consult a physician to ensure all of your options are evaluated.
