Available HGH supplements
Human Growth Hormone (HGH) is known by medical professionals as somatotropin. It is a substance created by the pituitary gland in
children and adolescent youth that stimulates the production of growth and cell reproduction.
HGH primarily stimulates division and multiplication of cartilage and chondrocytes (cells in the growing ends of children’s long
bones (legs, arms, finders and toes). HGH also acts on the liver ot stimulate the growth of Insulin-Like Growth Factor I (IGF-I). The
levels of HGH and IGF-I tend to decrease with age.
HGH is approved to treat Human Growth Hormone Deficiency (HGD), usually in children. A deficiency in HGH creates different health
problems depending on the age of the individual. Children can suffer from growth failure. In adults, the effects are much more discrete and
may produce symptoms of reduced energy and strength and a loss of bone mass.
The potential of HGH being an anti-aging solution for adults was reported in1990 by the New England Journal of Medicine. Many
studies and tests have proven their original finding less than fact. Regardless, the article created a massive marketing campaign to sell
non-prescription supplements that have HGH-like qualities.
There are essentially three types of HGH supplements available. HGH enhancers, stimulants, or releasing agents. These types of
supplements are made up of amino acids that may cause a temporary increase in HGH levels. Homeopathic HGH work by using intense dilutions
of HGH. Nanogram-strength HGH provides one-thousandth of the dose of prescription HGH.
These supplements are readily available on the Internet. There are many, many claims of success with HGH supplements including
decrease in body fat, increase in muscle mass, restoration of hair loss or color, decrease in LDL cholesterol and an increase in HDL
cholesterol, increased energy and an increased immune function.
While these claims sound good, there are many that do not believe that the supplements are not beneficial. It is important to
understand that “HGH producing” supplements have not been available for very long, and the long-term effects of using these products are
unknown.
Mary Lee Vance of the University of Virginia said in an editorial, “Because there are so many unanswered questions about the use
of growth hormone in the elderly and in adults with growth hormone deficiency, its general use now or in the immediate future is not
justified.”
With many varying opinions, studies and tests, one can be left confused about the benefits of HGH supplements, and like many other
things, every individual may benefit differently from these supplements. Caution should always be taken; seek a doctor’s advice before
administering growth hormone or HGH supplements to ensure all of your options are considered..(rugs)

spielt hier keine Rolle) fallen ja gänzlich weg.
